Blue Web N

Looking for a wonderful website to use in your everyday classroom. Then Blue Web N is the place for you. This site is useful, wonderful, and outstanding. I found this wonderful site by looking at our STaR Chart. One of the key areas that our school has a weakness in is in the teaching and learning. It has soon a decline in the last couple of years. Blue Web N is a free interactive service which provides tools for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, note-taking, presentations, wikis, and others. It also offers links to useful sites for any subject area. It has a link to the most viewed sites of the week.

This website offers staff development and free lesson plans for any course. It offers Filamentality Tools, Free Training plus workshops, Discounts and Funding, Grant Opportunities and Videoconferencing.

The site also has a link called Information Literacy. This links helps users because we have grown increasingly dependent on information gathered from the Internet. Find out how teachers, librarians and students can accurately assess the reliability, validity and authority of the massive amounts of information retrieved from the web and produce quality research. Take a look at the 21st Century Literacy resources developed through our partnership with UCLA.

This website is representative of the 21st century. Blue Web N can be used anywhere you have Internet access. The best part is you choose and create the product. Given a task, students can decide what type of product they want to use. They also have the ability to collaborate on the project without having the teacher right there to guide them in the direction they need to be in.

This is one piece of technology I will be presenting to teachers, leaders, and school board members. Blue Web N is listed as one of the top 10 tools for college students. I would have to highly recommend it as well because it is so easy to use, and is always accessible.
